Free mini sessions in Greenville, PA

This post was very hard for me to write, but so important.   As some of you know, I have had three friends die in the last year, As I'm writing this today I can be honest with you in saying that 50% of the last two days has been spent crying. I have cried for the lives lost, I have cried out of guilt, and I have cried because we are all,  just. too. young.
I was up all night thinking about what I could have done, I was on the phone with my father and he gave me the very best advice he could have. He said "The only thing you can do, is love the people you do have even more."

I am determined to live out his advice for the rest of my life, starting today.
God has really put it on my heart to do something for families, that will last a very long time.

That is why I would like to offer up free mini sessions*  to anyone** who wants it, this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday***.   Please call/text/email me to set up a time.

Life is too short to not have photo's of your family.

*Mini sessions are 20 minutes with 5 to 7 images shown in an online gallery for 14 days.
** I mean anyone, for any reason.
*** 7/11-7/13

Please give me a call.

Love, Jeanette Rowley Photography

Hi everyone! I am really backed up with blogging, and it is mainly because I am unhappy with my blog and the way it portrays myself and my business so I'm going to do something about it! Please enjoy this non photographic layout for the time being.
It will be awesome soon!

Thanks for your patience, and also if you are here off of good ol' google give me a chance! check out my website and give me a call (724.815.7938) before you decide I'm a weirdo who cooks as a photographer.
Thanks!

Tuesday

Little Mr. J.

I know you guys have been waiting for this sneak peek for THREE DAYS.

I promise you it was worth the wait, this little man is the most adorable newborn boy I have ever photographed.
Although it took around 4 hours for him to fall asleep, (his mother swears he is never awake!) when he did fall asleep we were able to get some wonderful shots. A session regularly takes around 2 weeks to process, edit, post and all that mumbo jumbo behind the scenes stuff but this was worth only getting 2 hours of sleep all weekend.

Without further adieu.

Jacob.

Friday

WINTERRRR

How many people are really sick of winter??
My hand is up, WAYYY UPPP.
I hate sitting in my house. I hate being outside more.
My photography bone is itching, I have shoots lined up to april, and I CAN NOT GO OUTSIDE.
It's killin me smalls.
so, if you are waiting till it is nice out to book your session with me, go ahead and call. I promise I won't make you go outside until its warm and springy.

When that time comes, this is what you should wear.

I am nowhere, and its now

Life is a little hectic right now, all but one of my family cars are in the shop or just plain broken. This leaves me with no reliable transportation.
On job applications they always ask about whether you have reliable transportation, if you own your own business I think it is a little important! So my wonderful husband has bought me a new (to me) car! It is all the way in buffalo NY and we have no way to get it but it's mine!

If you are wondering to yourself "What does this have to do with her journey as a photographer?? Has she gone mad? batty even??"

I have not gone batty! I just have not been able to take any sessions this week or the next. However, big things are going on behind the scenes at Jeanette Rowley Photography. These things include but are not limited to:

Jeanette learning to make tutu's ( eep! how cool!!!)
Jeanette ordering a bunch of studio samples (and wanting to give them away to her amazing clients!)
Jeanette writing a policies page for her website (so that the less amazing clients stop walking all over her.)
Jeanette getting a whole bunch of awesome stuff ready for senior season ( a whole blog post to come on that soon)
and last but not least....

Drum roll please.....
Jeanette listening to a whole bunch of Bright Eyes, and researching new cameras.

A little anti-climatic eh?

Well I'm going to try to do something from iheartfaces.com every Friday. So here is my fix for fix it Friday!!

Tuesday

A little Sunday afternoon fun. [ Greenville PA Family Photographer]

Sunday afternoon my family had an emergency that left us completely without any cars. This of course happened only one hour before my family session for the day! So, after a whole lot of stress and not wanting to reschedule Josh walked two blocks and "stole" his truck from the shop. He drove me to the session and I am glad he did, because we were able to get some cute shots of Mrs. M's adorable kids. I am itching for summer so badly, this family is so beautiful and indoor photo's just do not do them justice! I can not wait until the sun comes out and we can get some family photo's outdoors! Alrighty, well without further ado, your sneak peek=]

By the way! 15 comments on this blog post or the facebook sneak peek gets the M family a free 8x10 with their order!

Referral Rewards!!

Because so much of my business is based on referrals, I have created a “Referral Rewards” program This is an easy way for my clients to earn free prints. When you receive your print order from Jeanette Rowley Photography, you will also receive a set of eight referral cards. These cards are customized with one of your session images and are valid for six months. Give them out to friends and family members who are not yet Jeanette Rowley Photography clients. When one of these cards is returned to me by a new client, that person will receive a free print from their portrait session, up to 8″ x 10″. And you will also get a great reward – a $25.00 print credit! Your credit can be redeemed at your next Jeanette Rowley Photography portrait session (not valid for prints from prior sessions). And there is no limit to the number of referral credits you can earn. For example, if all eight of your cards are returned to me by new clients before they expire, you can receive a $200.00 print credit!

Friday

Collections.

A whole lot of people contact me and ask "do you have packages?" The simple answer is no, I do not have packages because my prices are already so low I really can't discount them any more! However, My goal in this business is to have great customer service, so I'm working on some fun and exciting new ideas to give you the portrait experience of your life! Won't you please help me? Take the survey below and as an extra incentive someone who takes this survey will win a $50 gift certificate for their next session! Thank you guys for all your love and support!!

You can find the survey here

The $50 gift certificate will be chosen by random.org and 2-18!

It's business time!

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

T family sneak peek!

Earlier today I had the pleasure of spending time with one of my favorite familys.
We started out at the church I have been part of since sixth grade and had a little fun destroying the youth room...(did I put anything back?) Then we got ourselves really hot so that we could go out and brave the heatwave of seven degree weather, we ended the whole day out back at my house for some M&M's and valentines day photos.  I had so much fun with this family! Hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek=]
